Hundreds 'held by Israel' without charge
Israel has been urged by human rights groups to release or charge 335 Palestinians, three of them women, one a minor, being held under administrative detention. Detention without charge or trial is legal under international law but only in exceptional cases to protect the security of a state. Human rights groups say Israel abuses this right.
