Animation confronts Gaza breast cancer taboo
The tragic death of a young Palestinian woman in 2004 inspired two filmmakers to produce the first commercial Palestinian animation film ever made. "Fatenah" doesn't tell the story of bombs or attacks, but the tale of a seamstress and her struggle to gain treatment for breast cancer in a region where the subject is still taboo.
